A nickel Ring
A dirty eye that wonders for it's connection,
And spots a thing of beauty that kisses the heart of pure affection.
It sings for love, for now.
But screams when that ring turns the finger green,
A sour milk from a healthy cow.
A polished eye that wonders for it's connection,
And spots the shy and kindness that squeeze the heart of pure affection.
It waits for love, and breaths.
