In the Night

In the night, I saved myself for you. The man who built me up, Adored me. Loved me. What happened? I can’t breathe. In the night, I found myself in you. The man who kept me together, Noticed me. Heard me. What happened? I can’t breathe. In the night, I stole away from you. The man who let me fall, Forgot me. Scorned me. What happened? I can’t breathe. In the night, I lost myself to you. The man who tore me down, Deceived me. Beat me What happened? I can’t breathe.
