night

As the sun falls on the woods we are told not to scream

But instead as we lie down we are to dream

But as the the dark grows long that dream becomes fright

And as the fear grips hold the nightmares begin to rule the night

The more we fight the longer it will last

Until the dawn breaks we are stuck in the past

A man cant win no matter how strong

As long as the frright has him all he's done is wrong

But as the sun arises we see a glimmer

But for now its nothing more than a shimmer
