Night

In it some find only Chills and fright. In it I find only Peace and calm. In the wind blowing through the tree tops, Some hear the passings of Spooks and ghosts. In the wind gently caressing my cheek, I find a gentle friend. To some the shadows seem to be, The edge of another world. To me the shadows seem to be Warm; a traveler's cloak. This is the night I walk in, Not of spooks from stories, And not of ghosts from the past, But of gentleness and peace.
