In the night

(poems go here) In the night , Has this been a game Did it ever really mean a thing Could you have ever called me your lady What did it really mean Did we argue fuss and fight all to no avail Did you think I’d just waste time Then you don’t know me very well 5 or 6 years they’ve come and gone To have not reached a decision Too much time too long We both made our mistakes We both have done some dirt But what is crazy is what you’re doing now, I think it really hurts But I have a choice and I chose The obvious you know Can’t wait for the curtain call Can’t wait for the chips to fall And I can’t just hang tight S o I’ll leave you to what you’re doing in the night In the night , Has this been a game Did it ever really mean a thing Could you have ever called me your lady What did it really mean Did we argue fuss and fight all to no avail Did you think I’d just waste time Then you don’t know me very well 5 or 6 years they’ve come and gone To have not reached a decision Too much time too long We both made our mistakes We both have done some dirt But what is crazy is what you’re doing now, I think it really hurts But I have a choice and I chose The obvious you know Can’t wait for the curtain call Can’t wait for the chips to fall And I can’t just hang tight S o I’ll leave you to what you’re doing in the night Has this been a game Did it ever really mean a thing Could you have ever called me your lady What did it really mean Did we argue fuss and fight all to no avail Did you think I’d just waste time Then you don’t know me very well 5 or 6 years they’ve come and gone To have not reached a decision Too much time too long We both made our mistakes We both have done some dirt But what is crazy is what you’re doing now, I think it really hurts But I have a choice and I chose The obvious you know Can’t wait for the curtain call Can’t wait for the chips to fall And I can’t just hang tight S o I’ll leave you to what you’re doing in the night Has this been a game Did it ever really mean a thing Could you have ever called me your lady What did it really mean Did we argue fuss and fight all to no avail Did you think I’d just waste time Then you don’t know me very well 5 or 6 years they’ve come and gone To have not reached a decision Too much time too long We both made our mistakes We both have done some dirt But what is crazy is what you’re doing now, I think it really hurts But I have a choice and I chose The obvious you know Can’t wait for the curtain call Can’t wait for the chips to fall And I can’t just hang tight S o I’ll leave you to what you’re doing in the night Has this been a game Did it ever really mean a thing Could you have ever called me your lady What did it really mean Did we argue fuss and fight all to no avail Did you think I'd just waste time Then you don't know me very well 5 or 6 years they've come and gone To have not reached a decison Too much time too long We both made our mistakes we both have done some dirt But what you're doing now, I think it really hurts But I have a choice and i chose The obious you know Can't wait for the curtain call Can't wait for the chips to fall And I can't just hang tight So i'll leave you to what you're doing in the night
