The Night
I’d change that night.
The night the demon entered
All I could do was cry as he came to comfort me.
I didn’t notice he locked me in the room with him.
Getting closer and closer.
As the demons clammy hands slid up my pants
I began to hit with fear by my side.
I wanted to scream so loud so that the demon can leave.
But he began to say they won’t believe you.
I kept on hitting with strikes to his face.
I ran to the door but it was locked
Then all hope was lost as he reeled me back in.
I’d change the night…
The night the darkness lasted for eternity.
I cried oceans that night as he took my innocence.
I’d change how useless I feel.
I’d changed how scared I am.
I’d change how his beady eyes and smile smirked haunts me.
I’d change it all.
The silence stays but I’d change the night that I was and forever will be
Useless…
My lips are sealed with threats and abuse.
And tied to torture with beasts around.
Today I know the night still stays
But in the end I’d change the day.
