Night

Night

The darkest part of our soul

All hope may seem lost,

but hope can always be found.

Hope is as if a star in the sky

only shining brightest in our darkest night.

Day

The part of our soul every sees.

The smiles being shared

only mask the pain the pain of our night.

The night that only

a small, courageous few dare venture near.

Eclipse

The occasional time where our night and day meet.

The meeting can enlighten our night

or make our day darker.

It is the hour in which people notice our night

or we think our night is something we can get through

Moon

The thing that makes our night brighter

In our nights where our moon shines, it seems like everything will be alright

In our nights where there is no moon

we crawl in a time of despair wondering if it is worth

living in another night to live among the stars.
