Night
she walks at night because she can
she will whisper in your dreams
people tell her to find a good man
she says they're selfish fiends
when she sighs it brings relief
her aching soul and biting teeth
people wish for her relief
she doesn't believe they're quite so deep
dire needs are held undone
people seeth of her wake
what she has become
she thinks no more than of what they take
there was so easily once good
she was not this little devil
what has come to be misunderstood
come subject to those who meddle
run little river she would scream
come our sister they would weep
become what we deem
and at night you will sleep
