Night

It was one of those days when you can do nothing yet feel everything. Thoughts fluttered; echoes of silence explored. The air was chilled as I remained still. Untouched and wholesome; my body was not warm nor was it frigid. It was one of those days when the sun's light shined, but the warmth was never strong enough to relax the small shivers. When the cold wind blew, another chapter began and the day exposed one of its many forms. I like the night sky. Never-ending within itself yet putting an end to my wake. Deep and quiet, the mind blinks into its prime; like the other side of the world is light when I am night. The mind is awake, and the time has come for dreams to radiate their warmth, to put out the chills, to bring the day to an end. It is one of those nights when you can feel nothing yet do everything, inside my head the day has begun, and that is when I finally feel the warmth. I am one.
