The night

Yes the night can be eerie.

The night can be dark.

Yes the the night can be cold.

The night can be filled

with creatures good and evil.

The night can be filled

with ones like you and me.

The night is not lonely

don't you know?

The night is not a creeper

if you know where to go.

Somewhere something lurks;

somehow it materializes elsewhere.

Turn around, but you won't see it perish.

Praying all night

for daylight to breakthrough,

but curious to know

what all exists.
