A Night

A man is a being come from the blue

And just years will pass and he will bid adieu.

In those years in between,

His happiness is truly lean;

For his life is all work and no play

Even if others have a different say.

For hours and hours men drudge on

Only to find themselves upon

Hours and hours that have gone by

And that all they have been told is a lie.

They find their life gone and unfulfilled

And the fire in their hearts becomes chilled

But as they say, men come out of the blue

And just years will pass before he must bid adieu.
