In the Night

In the middle of the night
When reality blurs
And when nothing is right

In the presence of the dark
Where the shadows blend in
And where my fears spark

At last I realize,
That I can no longer sleep.
Also that...

I can't focus and I can't dream
I can't think and it's worse than it seems.
My dreams fade and darkness ensues.
Once again, I don't know what to do.

Hey guys, I used to be an avid poetry writer and I'd love to get back into it. I'm also a student who is really trying to pull money together so I can go to Valley Forge Christian College and become a pastor, and hopefully one day be part of a movement to end intolerance and promote love and compassion.
