That night

Talking to me now you'd never know
The sound in my voice
The look in my eyes
It's all a little deceiving
You'd never be able to tell what happened that nigh four years ago
The way that I talk
The caution I carry gives me away
I'm not a live on the edge type
I'm not a rough and tough type either
But that night was different
That night was like I wasn't me
That night I was someone else
And now I can't stop thinking about it
How it could have happened
How it could have been different
How I could have stopped it
Talking to me now you'd never know.
