Night After Night

Night after night I lay upright,

thinking and wondering how ths ever came to be.

I, belly up,

examine lifes obstacles that constanly confront me.

Night after night I turn face down,

struggling to breathe the air of paradise.

I, back to the world,

turn away from all possible oppurtunities that suffice.

Night after night I balanced on one shoulder,

crying to a peak of resurrection.

I, chin up,

wake and know I'am headed in the the right direction.
