Night Fall

Darkness falls- Each shadow grows- Until no light it left. Life left quiet and still Silence falls upon the valley. Doors locked Candles lit The rustle of wind... Silence falls upon the valley.... A sudden shock Candles go out Men and maggots all as one... Silence falls upon the valley... False alarm. Candles relit But silence falls upon the valley.... Lunar light shines bright A dark figure on the horizon... A mother's scream. Another child- Gone in seconds... Fear remains for the fortnight. Day break Voices murmur Fear for the coming night....
