Night Images

I count my losses as I let them go

Never letting anyone that’s hurt me know

That I am letting the water touch the ground

And moving forward instead of looking down

My car is missing a tailpipe

Not understand what’s with all the hype

Let’s let ourselves drown

Cause then nobody can bring us down

I can’t swim without his pull

I can’t win without this bull

Shit comes first before any sunshine

Yet everybody soars to their dreams leaving me behind

Let’s let go of the hope

Cause their is no proof that we can cope

When we lose sight of the truth

People say they speak poetry but that’s a misuse

Of language cause it’s a facade

Nobody writes poetry without feeling, it’s just a mirage

I had a dream about you last night

Doesn’t matter cause you’re out of my sight

Don’t know what it means

Maybe someday I might
