The Night Molly Died
Molly was a little girl
Her heart as big as the world
she carried life on her shoulders
and helped her friends
climb over boulders.
But when molly reached 17
she began to see
the life she carried wasn't hers
it was all a mystery
she cried all day
and screamed at night
untill they found her
curled up in the darkest corner
whispering her name
"Mollys dead" "Mollys dead"
was all that she could say
she could not fathom
more words but these
and as they looked into her eyes
it was nothing they could see
for Molly dear was lost
no more could she feel
her life was drianed as music played
an organ rang sincere
"MOlly's dead" "Molly's Dead"
they all wail in black
the monotone of history
repaints the world
it held intact
