Night Owl

I like to stay up late at night Listening to music, write some poetry, party by myself And more likely . . . To spend some alone time A lot of people don't do that because all they think about is wanting someone to "Netflix & chill" with When all they really think about is sexing ! I guess I can say you had hell of a night Must've been good to you No baby I don't need no boyfriend ! Nor do I want one ! I just want have one hell of a night of love, freedom, & excitement Patiently waiting for summer nights Long walks in Manhattan, dancing in clubs, taking pictures to make memories Travel from one state to another Winter nights I can be in my blanket warm & cozy But wide awake listening to music & thinking about my future Looking at the rain from my window Oh so relaxing, soothes my mind & eases my body I barely sleep at night I could be a vampire Lights kills my eyes I could turn into something very scary that nobody wants to see I love staying up at night Something about the nightlife that's exciting I'm an night owl & I love it !
