Night Owl

It's 10 o'clock and I'm still awake

I have all this energy for goodness sake!

The jitters and the critters and the crawlies in my pants

Just won't seem to give me a chance!

to sleep, close my eyes and get some rest.

I've tried and tried -I've done my best!

My legs want to jump and move around

and in my ears there's this ringing sound!

At random moments I'll burst into giggles

Mom's worred, but it's just a case of the wiggles!

They said I was a night owl, and I started to hoot

I began to play an imaginary flute!

And just when I started to feel tired

I ate some chocolate and got rewired!
