A Night of Restless Hopes
A world of horrors,
Creeping eyeballs spying for their owners,
Terrors surprising you, waiting behind every corner,
Two people,
A seasoned warrior,
A veteran of those haunted halls,
That horrible twisted reality.
The other, an innocent witch.
Dragged into that world because of a horrible curiosity,
An interest in the that had raised the warrior.
Dragged in for some sort of selfish moral,
A delusional hope for some new light, in which he would pamper himself.
But instead, the newcomer fades,
Struggling to survive in the harsh reality,
Coming from a house where she was raised on love,
And just quickly abused for it.
Running, in the terrible world,
From the demented goddess of that twisted dimension,
Those ghostly towns,
Dirty streets,
Trash, rubbage, filth, and garbage are the result of a plague,
Of uncaring, ruthless, corrupt, self- loathing brutes.
The kind witch, no understanding,
Nay, refusing to accept the full situation,
Crawls back to the warrior.
Thinking it was her
That exploded in an inappropriate fit of pain and rage.
The horrid world of grime and self- hate, seeming to be the corner of the world,
But, at the same time, its epicenter.
A cruel reality where everything negative unnoticed, and ignored is abandoned.
Left to grow into its own abomination, knowing only what it was given by its creator.
Ran by a demented, even more ignored goddess.
Called the heart, the truth, the leader, the backseat driver, the feeling of what is ‘right’.
The subconscious
A demonic huntress, ruling the garbage heap we call the back of our minds,
Where everything we ignore, or refuse to realize is thrown.
Only to come back and bite us in the asses in our nightmares, that we have labeled dreams..
