Night Sky

In the darkness of night

the tiniest of light

has become the most beautiful creation

but the day comes along

and the light leaves, gone

and the world will not remember the sensation.

But the night comes again

as does the day

each night the beauty comes

by day it fades away

and we lose sight of the beauty

by day it will be

but the night comes along

and that is when we see

The beauty

a light of white against black

the end of it all

when the day comes back

and i still see the beauty in each night

Yet day comes along

the birds sing their song

and we end up droning on our time

Yet the night comes too

the stars fulfill you

whenever you see them in the sky

and still i feel

that in the end

This beauty stays with us

until the day we die.

I write poems in my spare time. I love writing in general as well, but I tend to only write bits and pieces when I have time instead of actually taking a full segment of time to write.
