The night sky

The night sky

Though always there

Is obscured from daylight’s sight

Similar to our souls’ longings

At times we are aware

Mostly hidden from us

The reflecting on art through time

Is our yearning to touch oneness

Poetry music painting sculptures

Our bridge to the divine

We cross over when we connect

Impoverished and alone if blocked

Messages from the past

Meant to soothe our way

By great artists who saw clearly

And sent love to humanity
