Night Sky

If ever, by chance, you see the stars shine, Up the calm sable night, grant this wish of mine. Smile, amid the moonlight, brighten up your face For within you I find comfort and solace. Above the starlit black, you sat watching from afar, Restored my long lost hope and set my heart ajar Shone in my darkest time, when I'm about to fail Caught me while I'm falling, and nurse me in your veil. With you, I'm lost, dazed with a taste of heaven, Without you I find myself wanting to be post again. The clouds may obscure, put limits to my view, Yet there exists no limit as to how much I love you.
