Night Terror
Paralyzing fear takes over my. Mind first and then my body. My eyelid's become afraid of their own shadow. My ears become amplified to hear every drop, tick and noise outside. Anxiety become my worst enemy. My blanket becomes my shield from the danger lurking in the recesses of my mind. My pillow is just a soft tease of how I cant seem to fall asleep because I fear someones watching me. Waiting to find me sleep vulnerable and weak. Unable to expect this defeat. I wanna yell kick or scream but no one hears me. I try to pray but the fear is louder than my prayer. Can anyone saveee me ...... be my hero..... Be brave for me. I guess not so I lie here half sleep half awake. Waiting to meet my maker or soul taker.
