Night Terrors

All ever seen in dreams is excuses.

It's never the true inside concept.

What you think, hear, and feel are mistakes.

The monster feared is around any,

Who run from the shadow.

Ghosts haunt the thoughts that trigger,

The unexpected will occur.

Destruction cracks the shield,

Anger will flow around the mellow.

What is wanted will never come again.

Humans all mortal puppets when asleep.

The mares of the dark will pitch black.

Sounds of moaning growls,

Hiding won't differ, trying won't help.

All are victims, even the ones,

That don't accept the truth.

Walk forward to the bleak pit.

Sore preys won't save,

Hope will set drums to sacrifice.

Offerings are need to keep alive.

Rotten roots with despicable memories.

Just give up the effort,

Nothing is safe, it's all threatening,

No matter what happens.

Fierce warfare will surround,

Outnumbered, slaves stay.

The gate closes, time to devour what's left.

Night Terrors coat all dreaming fools...

Kevin.S.Witt

Hi I'm Kevin and I write poetry. I am 17 years old and I've been through alot in my young years even though it may be too young to say it certainly feels like it. Each poem I write expresses a different emotion of feeling, may or may it not be the same from my emotions. A single piece of write has it's own heart, so it can care as much as anyone can.
