At night they protectwhile

At night they protect while we sleep, safely away in our homes. Safely, a word they fight to protect for those at home they love. Home, far away and in their dreams, the only protection and safety they find. Fighting, dreaming, loving, protecting, for millions they don't know. While we stay at home, safe and protected by walls they defend. Thank those who have fought, returned, died and want to fight. I want to be one. One of many who protect to keep their homes safe.
