The Night We Agreed To love

She looked at me
Tears in her eyes
The moment almost serene
She took a step
A step towards me
The moment paused in my mind
The way she looked
The way she smiled
They way she said my name
Everything happened all at once
Nothing could be the same
Why did you do it
Why did you walk
You walked right into the sea
You grabbed my hand and we took off
On an adventure only ment for thee
Thee who is brave
Thee who is strong
Thee who rises above them all
I only went because I consented
To the love we shared that fall
And because i love you we died that night
That night we went to the sea
But we went peacefully
With one great swish
The world around us hush
You took my hand and looked at me
Tears filling your face
You wispered "I love you"
Then turned a way
With smile I'd never erase.
