The Night That Wonders
At night I sit and wonder,
not until night comes and wonders on
my bed and the tears ran over my head.
I thought it was a dream, but it wasn’t and I
wanted to scream.
The night sits and wonders, while I dream
a dream, but it was a gleam to the unseen,
while he lays hands on me. The night sits and
wonders, while I’m under my deathly
hallow.
He touched me, he touched my breast
with the excuse he is just a man.
The night that sits and wonders, while
the pain rest, perhaps crying is not the best,
but killing would be the quest.
The night that sits and rests on my bed,
can no longer be my friend, I can no longer pretend and in
the end justice will be made.
At last, the sun will give me what I had believed in,
and that night would be unforgiving.
