The night you left
The night you left, I felt an ache in my body I knew would last a lifetime
The night you left, my chest caved in and I though i was going to suffocate
The night you left, I tried to crub every inch of you off of my body I made myself bleed
And thats when I realized...
I could not remove you from my body because you are embedded in me
I could not cleanse off the traces you left with your fingertips
I could not scrub away the feeling of your lips pressed against mine
You surge through my veins day and night never stopping so I can catch my breath
But you arent just in one place..
You come along with every step I take
You are the su that warmed up my life
You are the wind that made me feel like I could fly
You are the stars that showed me light in my darkest places
You, are you..
And when the day comes to where I no longer feel you coursing through my veins, I will be free of you
But not on earth like you may think
But walking in the clouds entering another lifetime
And maybe in that lifetime things wont end so heartrending
