NightFall

They say my heart is done.

Then why do I swoon...

 so effortlessly at the moon.

Like a wolf my soul howls

dancing barefeet in my mothers garden.

...

Then why do my hips move

so effortlessly against my lover

to the errie music that comes from afar

making two souls and hearts one.

...

Then why does my hair still glow against my skin.

Eyes twinkling like the ocean at sunset

mouth parted staring up at the stars.

swaying in the wind is my nightfall white dress

...

They say my heart is done

but my love still lives on.
