Nightmare

Long nights of twisting and turning became a norm for me. I would lay on my back and reminisce about the days that had passed and wasted away. Dreading tomorrow as if it would be like today. I hold on to my pillow of stability and shut my eyes close. holding then tight, fighting backk the memories they hold. Flashing bits and pieces of what i'd tried to forget for years, molded into my nightmare that got me screaming from my fears. Perspirstion, agitation, my aching pain. What was not reality became surreal. My screams, like the rain from yesterday slowly evaporates. Leaving me there combative and conscious. wrapped up, curled up, into the ball i've grown accustom to. Alone, shivering, lack of contact. All sense of sanity, cracked.
