Nightmare

I jump.

I’m falling into nothingness.

BAM!

I awaken to myself on the hard carpet disguising cold concrete.

I jolt, sweat eeks down my pores as I attempt to calm down.

I don’t calm down.

The kiss of a mother hasn’t yet come, Will never come.

I cry the pain away softly.

I’m drifting, drifting.

Drifting from reality.

Fearing the nightmare might come again

When I wake.
