Nightmare of the Past

Nightmare of the Past

Running towards you,

As you fade,

I cry out,

But you just disappear.

My loss,

My bad,

What did I do?

Falling face first,

Without you,

I am a song without lyrics,

I don’t know what to do,

So I turn.

Dizzy,

Fading,

Laughing,

No longer missing you.

False happiness,

Through the company of poison,

I swore to never drink,

You swore to never leave.

Break your promise,

And I’ll break mine,

As you broke my heart,

In this nightmare of mine.
