Nightmares

I open my eyes to another Hell

As I’m pulled into another restless dream.

I fight the demons though my fears swell

I fight through their torture and schemes.

I’m blinded by an explosion

As I race to save my family

Thrown into a painful position

Awaiting death impatiently.

I open my eyes to another Hell

As I’m pulled into another restless dream.

I fight the attacker and it seems to go well

Until another comes to hear me scream.

I’m stripped by the first

And violated by the latter,

Neither denying their thirst

As my soul continues to shatter.

I open my eyes to another Hell

As I’m pulled into another restless dream.

I try to escape where evil dwells,

But even friends are not what they seem.

We fight for our homeland

But betrayed by a friend

We’re dealt a deathly hand

And meet a watery end.

I open my eyes to another Hell

As I’m pulled into another restless dream.

I try to break a destructive spell

But failure soon becomes the theme.

I fight the demons and the witch,

But 3 times I am sent through the Lake of Fire

3 times I go to the torture pits

And I lose my life to Hell’s fire.

I open my eyes, awake from my Hell

As I waken, I’m mercifully spared

I wish I could say I slept well

But that won’t stop my nightmares.
