Nights

Nights like these are so long The sky is so clear My heart is pounding, lips are shaking Because I'm nervous about what I'm about to hear My eyes start to water, tear rolls down my face. My hearts running at an extremely fast pace. My ears are pierced with what I just heard. So upset at the world, I did not say a word. My dad is GONE, God took his soul. My heart is broken, but I have no control. Why at this time did he have to leave. I'm about to graduate, I'm in a time of need. God will take care of you, I know he will Even though I'm upset, I know you love me still. Forever in my heart and on my mind. This is the poem I wrote tonight.

This poem is about my dad. He passed away March 2012 of a heart attack. I miss him more than ever and this is a great way I get to express my feelings towards this situation
