Nights Lie

The night cries and I'm awake Under the covers I lie and wait Hold my breath to hear the silence I pray that you won't be violent Before an answer you appear At first you seem so sincere As you softly kiss I try to pretend The night is nearly at it's end The smell of whiskey stains your speech If only I had the strength to reach But you pin me down and hold me close As you thrust with unforgiving force With nothing left in my power My will is yours to devour
