Nights like these

Lie me down at the basin of the bath

Let the water overflow

While death consumes my wrath

Turn the music up high so I cannot hear my unsteady breaths

While I try to forget about holding her in my arms after she took her last breath.

While I try to forget the guilt of not being able to say goodbye

In death we only say hello because there's nowhere left for us to go

Let the darkness slowly fill the room while I try to forget when summers in full bloom he left me and went to you in shrouds of clouds

Let the water fill my lungs while I try forget the sting of being alone and the fear of always being

Let the water rise

Let the fear die
