Nighttime

Dear The Bustle,

Forget all the hustle:

Lay back, and let your mind relax,

To the sounds of chirping birds that attracts

You to hummingbirds making hums,

Just like someone thumping on drums.

Gusts of wind carries an owl’s hoot,

Whose quaint echo sounds like a flute.

Your eyes awake to a wonderful sight,

The stars are glowing on a cold clear night.

The sky brings out a sparkling star,

Those tiny gas balls look very far.

In the sky, dancing sparks of fire,

Flowing above up higher and higher.

Out in the country where there is no light,

Little squirrels are scampering with delight.

Last crumb of sunlight is orange and pink,

Tree branch shadows look just like ink.

While dazzling fireflies form in a swarm,

The campfire’s heat keeps me so warm.

While the speckled white moon shines bright up above,

Remember, Nighttime is truly something to love.

So come out of the bustle...

Forget about the hustle...

And enjoy the nature around you while you can.
