Nighttime Sins

Nighttime Sins

Silent tears in the night

Forbidden feelings cloud my mind

Fighting the contradictions of right and wrong

Alongside the fear of his touch on my body

My stomach aches as though my heart has been broken

My mind plays the memories as reels

Flashing on and off whenever I’m least expecting it

Cold to the touch

Yet the burning fury races through my blood

Shivering as I remember him beside me

Paralyzed by his movements

Too scared to take my body back

Confused and hurt by his selfish acts

The years of friendship the years of trust

All gone in a spilt second

Buried beside your manhood
