Nihilism

We are all zombies.

Walking around, going about our daily activities.

Glassy gaze and mindless actions.

How can we ask if they can see us now

If we cannot even see ourselves?

What is life if we are not living?

We try to apply but for what?

For more space on the resume?

For more awards to line our walls?

When was the last time you have felt passion?

When you have felt fire in your heart

doing something you love?

We may say that we are passionate.

We may say that we love what we do.

But aren't those just words

We say to fill the gaps?

Aren't those just words

We say because they sound like they should be right?

How can we exist like this?

We are all zombies.
