Nine-Thousand Two-Hundred And Twenty-Two Words

10 pages today, 10 pages today, all these pages filled with my dismay,

9 pages set, 9 pages set, 9 pages tell you how we met,

8 pages of mess, 8 pages of mess, 8 pages to tell you why I'd stay regardless

7 pages fade, 7 pages fade, 7 pages to show you what you have made

6 pages late, 6 pages late, 6 pages to tell you why there is no late

5 pages bled, 5 pages bled, 5 pages that left deep cuts instead

4 pages a day, 4 pages a day, 4 pages is what is needed to lead you astray

3 pages more, 3 pages more, 3 pages so you know what's in store

2 pages less, 2 pages less, 2 pages so you know I did my best

1 page left, 1 page left, what will you write with one page left?
