No

Sometimes he looks like yes

He looks like running up and jumping

Wrapping legs around torso

Arms around neck

He looks like grasping hands so tightly

Never letting go

He looks like phone calls past midnight

Saying nothing

Just breathing

He looks like kisses stolen everywhere

At stoplights

In movie theaters

 During commercials on the couch

But sometimes he looks like no

He looks like turning my back and walking away

He looks like missed calls

Maybe purposely ignored calls

And undisturbed voicemails

Dating back from October

He looks like heavy silence

Cold silence

He looks like feet between us

That feels like miles

Sometimes I love him

But sometimes he looks like no

I used to write when I was younger. I'm picking it back up again.
