She said no. But it didn’t go. A force so strong She almost choked. She said no. But it wouldn’t let go. She begged and pleaded. But it didn’t listen. So it didn’t know. She cried out no. But it squeezed Her throat. A force so strong She shook head to toe. But it didn’t care when She said no. And now She’s old. Broken, not bold. Fighting a fight She lost so long ago. Saying no to everyone She knows. So She won’t be powerless anymore. She fights the nights and wakes up cold. They see Her as someone strong but She knows. That it was stronger even though She said no. It was bigger. It was faster. And it didn’t go. He didn’t go. Even when I said no.
