No Child Left Behind

I never knew

Migration preludes isolation

Memories of only my current nation

I've lived my days on the same path

Growing up brought greater pains

Rejected, though I took the oath

American in every way; road-blocked with no gains

No education, no job, left at an impasse

Things I never knew.
