No Clue

I was too young and dumb to see your lies
I had no clue
To be honest, I thought I’d land in the skies
When I fixed my eyes on you

I can barely see the dawn
And I am too afraid to just move on Sometimes I still cry
Because I just can’t say goodbye

You decided to leave me in the sea
You said you didn’t need me.
I tried and tried to swim
It became very dim.

But, here and now, I’m on my own
I still haven’t found my way back home
Even in the end I had no clue
You weren’t being true

I now see you are conducive to great levels of pain.
Have I gone insane?
Maybe but…
I have no clue…
