no, of course you don't

"Hey you alright?" He asks after he so non coherently brushed me off

"Not really" I scoff at him

"Well why?" He asks oblivious

"You know that feeling?

The sinking kind in life where you feel as if your body is falling to the end and the world is falling in around you and there is no possible way out. That feeling in which you are trying to swim more and more and you know you can't give in because if you do the possibility that your fragility will be greater than your strength and you will collapse? That feeling that you are suffocating in an empty room full of people you should know that wraps you in a cocoon of anxiety making your lungs collapse and you brain synapse die? That feeling that the only person in the world that can hear you is yourself and your yelling about poverty and the ozone layer and life and death and everything crucial to life into a big black void and we are all just dealing with the strife of tying to make the big leagues when in the end it will never even matter because we leave this world eventually? Do you know that feeling?" I ask out of breath

He thinks for a minute and I think maybe I've gotten through to him. Maybe he gets what I mean, then he replies "No not really."

I'm stunned but why not he's just like the rest, he dosn't care about this earth. so I simply say "no, of course you don't" and walk away.
