No Dreams For Me

You know I never really thought much about my life.

About the things that I wanted to do with it.

What it would amount to or how I would find my goals and complete them.

I never thought much about it.

And looking back now I’m glad I didn’t waste my time on that.

It was pointless. Useless might be a better word?

For how could I amount to much if I can't even be predicted to live for the next coming year.

Tragic?

Maybe so.

But that’s life I suppose.

So I’m glad I never gave much thought on dreams.

Of what I could accomplish out there.

Because I’ll never be there.

And its far better I believe to have a whole heart - than a broken one full of despair for the tragedies that I’m sure millions of others are going through with me.

Believe me.

I have enough brokenness on the outside.

I don’t need anymore on the inside.
