No Effort Cuts Deeper

Friendships can hurt and cut deeper than any blade ever could. "We will still hang out" Half a year gone. Not one hang out. We don't text anymore, I stopped texting first to everyone. I realised how many dead plants I've been watering. I wondered how long it would take for someone to notice I had gone quiet too. Turns out silence only echoes when it comes from them. Actions cut deep. But no actions, no effort cuts deeper.
