No Empathy

Darling, you left your blades at home Why are you covered in Greif? No one has died You have no reason to cry, listen You can hear another girl Weep Why are you like this alone Permission to screw up Don't do what your told But really Your failing Just loosing the game that was once easily played, because now you are older, lost and less ambitous You will not find hope You don'tcover your bases The girl is still sobbing You do nothing but listen She just left now, is that what you envisioned? Just let her leave, so you may be left alone But more people are coming and the flow will not stop, the spinning of a clock will make you change, you can't stay his way forever, even though that's how it may seem, because now you are older, and people see your strife, and guess what little angel, your excuses are nowhere in sight Yes, the people keep coming, and testing you so, but you still stand behind the line quiet and unknown.
