No Filter Needed On the Pitch

Drops of sweat have mixed with the makeup upon her cheeks.

Each cheek is flushed from the effort to never give up.

One by one, each drop dwindles the makeup that covers her beauty.

She looks upon the looking glass in her hand and asks who is the fairest of them all.

The sun shines upon her face, as if answering her question.

The sunlight provides her skin with a natural glow.

Her hair is slightly captivated by the wind that blows around her

and places her hair in just the right place.

Right to where she is given her own golden halo.

In this moment she reflects on how her eyes seem to shine with a unquie hazel glow.

Not as green as the grass beneath her cleats and not as blue as the sky above her that resounds

the cheers of victory.

A mixture of both is conveyed.

Right before her eyes, she sees the fairest of them all.

But she is not alone.

She hears her name being called behind her.

A call which she addresses with a wave.

She no longer stands alone.

The mirrored screen reflects back eyes that behold the love of friendship and life.

A click is barely heard over the laughter that leaves their lips.

Lips that hold a natural and unfailing beauty.

The moment is now timeless.

The evidence of undefined beauty is forever and eternally known.

This one picture is more then a thousand words.

Why put a refinement on the real?

When she looks upon the photo she releaizes she wants her true self to be known.

Not hidden behind a filter that hides the beautiful truth.
